Runald Li is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal's Global Transaction Advisory Group in Shanghai. He specializes in transaction support services, with a focus on buy- and sell-side financial due diligence, deal negotiation support and post closing financial improvement. Mr. Li has worked across a range of industries, including life sciences and healthcare, consumer and retail, education, technology, advanced manufacturing and mobility. Additionally, Mr. Li serves equity funds and private companies on their equity financing or mergers and acquisitions in China and overseas. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Li spent more than 16 years with the Strategy and Transaction department at EY, where he served as the leading Partner for the firm’s transaction diligence practice in central China. He also served as Market Leader with EY's Strategy and Transaction service line, leading the team to provide one-stop connected capital solutions and other market initiatives to private equity clients. Previously, Mr. Li served as Senior Auditor with EY. He also spent a year in the Chinese headquarters of a multinational pharmacy as a Finance Manager. Mr. Li earned a bachelor’s degree from Fudan University and an MBA from Hong Kong University. He is a fellow member of CICPA and ACCA.
