Rohan Moitra is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement practice in Miami. With over 15 years of operational consulting experience, he focuses on operational due diligences, driving rapid operational improvements across end-to-end supply chains, and streamlining company operations. Mr. Moitra has advised clients across various industries, including professional services, consumer products and retail, food and beverage, and manufacturing and processing. He has extensive global experience working on projects spanning the U.S. the U.K., India, Southeast Asia and Japan. Mr. Moitra has led multiple operational due diligence assessments of medium-to-large businesses in the pre-acquisition stages of deals across food and beverages, colors and additives manufacturing, professional and technical service providers, ambulances and emergency medical care, tools and supplies, and building materials. Mr. Moitra’s other notable assignments include performance improvement for a national air ambulance service provider, optimizing the end-to-end supply chain for a national windows manufacturer, and driving gross margin impact for a $4 billlion soft-lines retailer. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Moitra spent nine years with A.T. Kearney in their Consumer Industries and Retail Practice in Miami, serving most recently as Manager. He focused on sourcing and cost take-out engagements, operations and supply chain improvements, business process reengineering, due diligence assessments and growth strategy development. Mr. Moitra is also a former automotive engineer, having worked in new product introduction for the leading Indian auto manufacturer. Mr. Moitra earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
