Bio

Rebecca Alexander Jamner is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in New York. She specializes in account management strategy. Her primary areas of concentration include setting strategic direction, advancing repeatable processes, generating internal buy-in and augmenting top-line revenue growth. With more than 20 years of business development and professional services experience, Ms. Jamner has worked hand-in-hand with leadership to develop and communicate best practices, execute effective go-to-market campaigns and identify KPIs that foster growth. Notably, Ms. Jamner landed and grew an elusive PE sponsor from an initial $50 thousand contract to a $2.5+ million annual relationship in under four years. For a leading venture capital firm, she utilized scenario analysis of recent trends to identify a new operating partner strategy that improved their ability to attract and partner with top management teams. Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Jamner was a Vice President of Private Equity at INSIGHT2PROFIT, where she focused on building strategic relationships with PE sponsors. Previously, she held the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development, Strategy and Operations for the Private Equity team at Gerson Lehrman Group. In this role, she not only managed individual client relationships, but also set the strategic direction to achieve double-digit growth for the top 100 private equity accounts. Prior to GLG, Ms. Jamner played key roles in relationship management and business development at Bessemer Trust, EnTrust Capital, Yucheng Technologies and Credit Suisse. Ms. Jamner earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations and international economics from American University and an MBA (concentration in game theory) from Columbia Business School. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
