Bio

Mr. Béjaoui brings nearly 15 years of experience in M&A/private equity, financial and operational transformation, performance improvement, post-merger integration (PMI) and crisis communication in France, Europe and the US. He has worked across a range of industries, including industrials, insurance, real estate, retail, business services, and automotive. Mr. Béjaoui re-joined A&M after having worked for Bain Capital Credit on distressed and special situations in Europe. While at Bain, he served as a Board Director at T.M. Lewin in the UK and Habitat Inmobiliaria in Spain. During his initial tenure at A&M, Mr, Béjaoui co-led the PMI between a French leader in foodservice delivery and a leading international B2B retailer specialising in self-service wholesale trade, developing the change and integration plans. Prior to this, Mr. Béjaoui developed a cost-reduction plan for a leading European digital local communication company. He worked closely with c-suite executives to identify more than €40 million in cost-reduction potential over five years. Mr. Béjaoui's other notable engagements at A&M include developing a 12- to 18-month transformation plan for one of the largest asset managers and repair providers of containers, galley carts and ground support equipment, in which he worked with top management to implement a short-term profit recovery plan. He served as Chief Transformation Officer for a leading commercial property and real estate services adviser during the transformation of its underperforming French business. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Béjaoui was Chief of Staff to the CEO of MetLife in Western Europe, in charge of strategic planning, M&A and communication. He was involved in AIG’s restructuring process, worked on the sale of Alico to MetLife, provided the weekly update to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and led the PMI in Western Europe. He developed recommendations, managed strategic initiatives including all aspects of M&A transactions, encompassing initial analysis, due diligence, internal governance, financial negotiations, closing and integration. Prior to that, Mr. Béjaoui worked with Macquarie Capital on its Private Equity team in New York. Mr. Béjaoui earned a master’s degree (finance concentration) from EM Lyon Business School and an MBA from INSEAD. A French national, he is fluent in French and English.
