Lawrence Wu is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in Los Angeles. He specializes in financial and accounting due diligence. Mr. Wu’s primary areas of concentration are within the software and technology industry vertical; however, he brings deep experience across a range of industries, including, industrial products, consumer products, retail and manufacturing. With more than nine years of financial and accounting due diligence experience, Mr. Wu has advised strategic and private equity clients on domestic and cross-border deals, ranging from less than $10 million to greater than $1 billion in purchase price, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Wu’s notable assignments include servicing accounts such as Aurora Capital Partners, Banneker Partners, BVP Forge, Clearlake Capital Group, Endeavour Capital, Francisco Partners, Frazier Healthcare Partners, K1 Investment Management, Marlin Equity Partners, Angeles Equity Partners and Brentwood Associates. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wu spent six years with KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice in Los Angeles and Philadelphia, where he most recently served as Director. He was responsible for deal execution, client development, talent acquisition and employee training. Mr. Wu earned a BBA (concentration in finance) from George Washington University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California and Pennsylvania and a member of the AICPA.
