Bio

Donatien Chenu is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Transaction Advisory Group in Paris. He brings over 16 years of experience in transaction services engagements and audit assignments. Mr. Chenu works for both corporate and private equity clients and has deep expertise in TMT and Energy in particular. Mr. Chenu has extensive expertise in cross-border transactions, working on 50+ international projects across 15 countries including China, Russia, Brazil, Turkey, the US, and several countries in Africa and Europe. He has worked on over 150 due diligence engagements and has executed over 40 vendor due diligence projects. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Chenu was a Transaction Services Partner in Paris with a Big Four firm, where he co-led the TMT sector and worked with large corporates and investment funds over a range of segments and sizes. He was also part of the SPA advisory services practice. Mr. Chenu started his career in audit (financial services) and then specialised in transaction services in London and Paris. Mr. Chenu earned a bachelor's degree in international management and German from Bath University. He is a chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Mr. Chenu is fluent in French, German and English.
