Diane Dominick is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Services group in Chicago. She specializes in pre-acquisition operational diligence, post-acquisition performance improvement and carve-out and merger integration. Ms. Dominick brings more than 20 years of experience in public accounting and worked in manufacturing and services industries with roles in accounting operations, corporate development (pre acquisition/due diligence), and post-merger/acquisition integration. She leverages her operational experience to plan and execute integrations/separations to achieve short-term goals and establish a foundation for future success. Ms. Dominick’s notable pre-acquisition operational diligence, post-deal integration and carve-out transactions include leading the separation management office (SMO) to execute carve-out plans and stand-up for a PE company acquisition. She led the SMO and overall separation plan for a multinational insurance provider, including managing eight work streams and establishing governance internally and with the buyer and developing the TSA governance and post-close administration processes. Ms. Dominick handled SG&A performance improvement sell-side project for a client’s tech-enabled marketing services company. She was responsible for the go-to-market and back-office client delivery performance improvements, identifying +$60 million of performance improvement out of $400 million. Ms. Dominick also led the development of an integration playbook for a serial acquirer, improving the measurement and tracking of revenue synergies by implementing a contract database that calculated the value of incremental revenue opportunities during diligence. Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Dominick was the Director of Business Integration and Corporate Development with STERIS Corporation. Prior to that she spent 10 years with TRW (now Northrup Grumman and ZF TRW Automotive), where she held various roles in finance and corporate development. Ms. Dominick earned a bachelor's degree in accounting (information systems concentration) from Mercyhurst University. She is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant.
