Brett Everhart is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Miami. He leads the firm’s CFO Services' Working Capital and Cash Improvement offering. Mr. Everhart’s primary area of concentration is creating value for companies and investors through improving cash from operations. His expertise is in leading complex projects and teams to achieve organizational goals. He has worked with clients across a range of industries, including C-suite executives and board members from both Fortune 100 and PE portfolio companies of all sizes. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Everhart worked with E&Y Parthenon, where he oversaw working capital and liquidity projects across several industries, including manufacturing, financial technology, diversified industrials, advanced manufacturing, chemicals, semiconductors and technology. Before that, he spent two years with AArete Consulting and six years in various supply chain and operations roles with Nestle. Mr. Everhart’s sample experience includes leading over 25 projects for small- and mid-cap portfolio companies across industries to identify and execute operational improvements and release cash by optimizing working capital, while also providing increased cash flow visibility to executives and investors; designing a cash leadership transformation and acting as the Cash Leadership Officer for a $1.5 billion education software and services portfolio company to generate $100+ million of cash improvement through OTC, PTP and inventory improvements; aiding the CFO and board of investors for a PE owned media and entertainment company to conduct a global cash drive of their significant past due collectable, quantify the scope of outstanding payables and improve visibility of cash flows; and developing a cash leadership strategy for a publicly traded $80 billion technology company to target $3 billion to 5+ billion of free cash flow improvement across AP, AR, rebates, inventory and CapEx. Mr. Everhart earned a BBA from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University in Columbus.
