Benedikt Hoernler is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Munich. With more than 13 years of consulting and operational experience and over 100 successful projects, he specializes in commercial due diligence (CDD) and top-line value creation. Mr. Hoernler has been involved in sell- and buy-side due diligence, growth strategy, sales excellence, price improvement, and M&A support projects, with clients in various industries, including technology, software, healthcare, services, and industrial components. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hoernler spent two years in the Transaction Service and Private Equity practice of Simon-Kucher in Munich, where he was a Senior Director and built up the CDD business. Previously, he spent more than six years at one of the leading CDD boutiques in DACH. Mr. Hoernler earned a master's degree and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Munich. An Austrian citizen, Mr. Hoernler is fluent in German and English.
