Andrew Oesterling is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Transaction Advisory Group in Dallas. With more than eight years of transaction and public accounting experience, Mr. Oesterling specializes in buy- and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity firms and strategic buyers. He has worked with clients in various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, consumer products and business services. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Oesterling was a Vice President with Houlihan Lokey’s transaction advisory practice, where he led financial due diligence for buy- and sell-side transactions with enterprise values from $20 million to $1 billion. Most recently, Mr. Oesterling served as a sell-side advisor on the divestiture of an environmental services business to a multi-national private equity firm in a near billion-dollar transaction. Previously, Mr. Oesterling was a Manager in the transaction advisory group of KPMG in Dallas. While there, he assisted on several high-profile engagements including the sale of a majority interest in a leading supplier of advanced chassis to a global private equity firm. Mr. Oesterling earned a master’s degree in accounting from Southern Methodist University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Texas. Mr. Oesterling serves on the Southern Methodist University young alumni board.
