Andrew Henoch is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Transaction Advisory Group in Chicago, and co-leads the practice’s Healthcare Industry Group. He brings more than 20 years of experience in leading financial accounting healthcare due diligence projects for complex public and private company transactions. Mr. Henoch has assisted numerous private equity firms and strategic buyers with transactions across a wide range of healthcare and life science segments, including physician practice management, home health, hospice, behavioral, value-based care, specialty and retail pharmacy, acute and sub-acute care hospitals, revenue cycle management and contract research organizations. Additionally, Mr. Henoch specializes in transaction-related matters, including analysis of recurring EBITDA and cash flow, assessment of enterprise value, review of purchase agreements, analysis of financial statements, identification of value opportunities and dealbreakers and evaluation of working capital requirements. Mr. Henoch has worked extensively with financial buyers, strategic buyers and target companies on buy- and sell-side transactions. He has also participated in post-merger integration and performance improvement engagements and has developed a sought-after approach that can adapt to targets ranging from unsophisticated accounting teams/small business owners to complex organizations operating in niche sectors. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Henoch served with the private company services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked with high-growth private and small-cap public clients to assess key performance indicators, analyze financial risk, evaluate internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and provide audited financial statements. Mr. Henoch earned a bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in finance and accounting from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.
