Allen Fujimoto is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement in Vancouver. He specializes in supply chain resiliency, direct material procurement and operational efficiency. With more than 25 years of consulting experience, Mr. Fujimoto has been involved in supply chain optimization, direct material cost reduction, best practice purchasing processes, inventory reduction, procurement benchmarking and manufacturing efficiency. Mr. Fujimoto’s notable assignments include improving cost of goods sold for a national retailer; executing procurement transformation and direct material sourcing for a global automotive original equipment manufacturer; and leading lower-cost country sourcing for a global industrial manufacturer. Most recently, Mr. Fujimoto was responsible for a 20 percent increase in production output and a 25 percent increase in supply chain capacity for a vehicle manufacturer. Previously, Mr. Fujimoto was involved in distribution network consolidation, supplier negotiations, value chain optimization and operations due diligence. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Fujimoto was involved in operations at AlixPartners, Kearney and Accenture. He served in leadership positions at Petco and a small-cap consumer goods company. Mr. Fujimoto earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in management sciences from the University of Waterloo.
