Jean-Yves Duriez has been involved in M&A and private equity in the Hauts-de-France region for more than 30 years, carrying out more than 70 transactions for shareholder managers, private equity funds, industrials and corporates. He started his career as a corporate lawyer (M&A, restructuring, etc.) before spending more than ten years as M&A Partner at NORD TRANSMISSION (IRD Group). He then joined PARTICIPEX PRIVATE EQUITY before taking part into the NORD CAPITAL creation in 2012. At the request of PE funds, he also worked on transition management in an agri-food Group. He spent the next eight years developing the private equity business of BPIFRANCE INVESTISSEMENT Nord Pas-de-Calais office, where he had been assisted CEOs and managers in buy-side, sell-side, capital opening and build-up transactions. Most of Jean-Yves’s recent assignments have been in construction, logistics, healthcare, IT and BtoB services sectors.
