Phos-Chek provides fire-fighting chemicals by working in partnership with the USDA Forest Service and other international fire management agencies since the late 1950s to further the safety and effectiveness of the aerially applied fire retardant technology. Its first Phos-Chek retardant product became available in 1962. As additional tools for the fire manager, in 1988 it introduced Phos-Chek WD 881 Class A foam and in 2005 Phos-Chek Aqua-Gel water enhancer. All of the Phos-Chek brand products have a long history of use aiding ineffective fire suppression and are recognized worldwide for the excellent benefits they provide.
