RosVivo Therapeutics targets diseases with breakthrough therapies utilizing microRNA (miRNA) and small interfering-RNA (siRNA) drugs. Discovery research conducted by Dr. Seungil Ro’s laboratory recently identified key miRNAs responsible for the onset and development of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D). Preclinical studies show depletion of these key miRNAs leads to the development of not only T2D, but also obesity, fatty acid liver disease, hyperlipidemia, and gastroparesis. Remarkably, restoration of these miRNAs reverses these disease states.
