John joined Zouk’s Technology Growth Team in 2013. He has over 6 years of combined experience in growth equity, investment banking and technology. Prior to Zouk, John spent 3 years in investment banking at J.P.Morgan and C.W.Downer & Co, where he advised on a wide range of transactions in technology, energy and diversified industrials. In addition, John has served as a consultant to the United Nations Development Programme in New York, where he promoted the adoption of clean energy technologies in developing countries. He has also carried out economics and scientific research for Columbia University’s Lenfest Center for Sustainable Energy, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the Joint European Torus, one of the world’s largest nuclear fusion research facilities. John holds graduate degrees in sustainable economics and technology policy from Columbia University and the University of Cambridge, as well as a degree in industrial engineering from École Centrale in Lyon, France.
