Bio

Mr. Kane is a Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel, member of the Management Committee, and a member of the Investment Team of Z Capital. Mr. Kane is responsible for advising on and executing value-oriented private equity transactions in due diligence, legal oversight of portfolio companies, mergers & acquisitions, and litigation. Mr. Kane is a member of the Board of Directors for Carillon Miami Beach and Waldhaus Flims Alpine Resort & Spa. Prior to joining Z Capital, Mr. Kane was an Associate with Storch Amini PC, a litigation boutique in New York, where he advised clients in complex commercial disputes arising in the financial services industry. Mr. Kane began his career as an Associate with Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York, where he advised clients in various types of civil matters, including complex commercial, regulatory and corporate investigations, and white-collar defense. Mr. Kane holds a Juris Doctor degree with honors from the Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Hamilton College. He is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia.
