Bio

Zalmie is a Partner of the Firm and the Head of Private Equity. Zalmie manages the York Special Opportunities strategy. Prior to joining the Firm in 2008, Zalmie co-led an investment group at Leucadia National Corporation, worked as a Vice President at The Carlyle Group and was a corporate attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell. Zalmie holds a BA in History from Columbia College and a JD from Harvard Law School.
