Bio

Dana founded Yellow Wood Partners in 2011. He brings over 30 years of operating executive, private equity, and investment banking experience. Prior to Yellow Wood, Dana co-founded Blacksmith Brands, Inc. where he was the CFO, EVP of Business Development and a Director. After sourcing the acquisition of the company he led the establishment of the company's financial, accounting, IT and personnel infrastructure to create a stand-alone company group of consumer brands (including Efferdent, Luden's and PediaCare). Previously, Dana served as President of J.W. Childs Associates and as an Associate at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners. Dana received an AB from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
