Tom Howell joined XPV Water Partners in 2017. Tom’s experience in corporate advisory and mergers and acquisitions provides strategic and execution support for XPV and its portfolio companies when collaborating on investment and growth opportunities. Tom observes on the Board of Directors for several current XPV portfolio companies. Prior to joining XPV, Tom was in the Mergers & Acquisitions Investment Banking Group at Evercore, based in New York City. While at Evercore, Tom was involved in the evaluation and execution of several completed buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions across a variety of verticals primarily in the Industrials sector. Prior to his time at Evercore, Tom worked in Investment Management for high net worth and institutional clients at Scotiabank. Tom is a proud member of the Executive Council of Bpeace, a nonprofit network of business volunteers who work with entrepreneurs in crisis-affected communities to scale their businesses and stimulate employment. He also volunteers to judge contestants in the Enactus World Water Race Impact Competition. Tom holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies with a Specialization in Finance from Western University. In his free time, Tom enjoys playing hockey and golf, and actively participates in triathlons. He is a devoted Toronto sports fan and a travel enthusiast.
