Bio

Nicole Almond joined XPV Water Partners in 2022 as Vice President, Stakeholder Management. Nicole has spent her entire career working with purpose-driven entrepreneurs. At the firm, she works with all key stakeholders, focusing on projects that intersect XPV operations, investors, and portfolio companies. Prior to joining XPV, Nicole was President of the Canadian affiliate of Enactus, a global platform that empowers over 70,000 youth annually to improve the world through entrepreneurial action with a focus on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. She led Enactus Canada through the start-up phase, helping build a mature, sustainable organization by driving revenue growth, ensuring proactive customer relations, developing talent and culture, and ensuring operational efficiency. Under her leadership, the Enactus Canada program impacted over 20,000 students, ultimately helping over 14,000 people gain employment, launching over 4,000 businesses and improving the lives of over 3.5 million individuals around the world. Through Enactus, Nicole worked with Fortune 500 corporations and leading foundations to develop and meet their ESG priorities. From 2018-2022, she was Global Chair of the Enactus Country Leadership Council, which advised the global operation and national affiliates on governance, impact metrics, strategy and operations. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a focus on entrepreneurship and accounting, from Wilfrid Laurier University. She has successfully completed strategic and leadership programs at Harvard Business School and Richard Ivy School of Business. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys baking and traveling and she is an avid reader.
