Michael Salgat joined Wynnchurch in 2020 as a Managing Director. Prior to joining Wynnchurch, Michael served as an Operating Partner for New State Capital Partners where he worked on value creation initiatives, debt financing and financial reporting with a number of portfolio companies. Michael began his career at Donnelly Penman & Partners and Candlewood Partners where he was an Investment Banker focused on financial restructuring and distressed M&A. Following this, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Sipi Metals Corp. and Vice President of Strategy and Finance at Tecumseh Products Company. Michael has over 20 years of experience in restructuring, M&A, private equity and financial leadership. B.S. Finance, John Carroll University
