Mr. Phillips co-leads the firm’s venture capital and growth equity investments. He currently sits on the board of Headspace, Method, Paro, Pivot and AliveCor and has an active role at Seno Medical. Previously, Mr. Phillips sat on the board of Metabiota as well as had an active role at Postmates before it was acquired by Uber (NYSE: UBER) and Just. In addition, he currently serves on the Legislative Board for the Illinois Venture Capital Association (IVCA). Before joining WP Global Partners, Mr. Phillips was an early employee at Envestnet Asset Management (NYSE: ENV). At Envestnet, he developed the Firm’s FinTech investment management strategies for venture capital, hedge funds, private equity, and socially responsible investments. Envestnet is now one of the largest providers of wealth management solutions, administering over $1 trillion. Mr. Phillips earned an M.B.A. at UCLA Anderson School of Management. He also earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado and was a member of their division-1 football program. He is also on the Executive Board of Bright Pink, a national breast and ovarian cancer non-profit organization. He is also a member of the International Dyslexia Association.
