Bio

Mr. Bagwell joined WJ Partners in 2017 as a Summer Intern and re-joined the team in 2018 after completing his MBA at the University of Chicago School of Business. He is responsible for executing investments and portfolio management. Prior to completing his MBA and joining WJ Partners, Mr. Bagwell spent four years at Deloitte in its M&A Advisory practice. At Deloitte, he helped middle- market private equity firms such as Thoma Bravo, Silver Lake Partners, Thomas H. Lee Partners, and Providence Equity Partners execute leveraged buyout transactions. Prior to Deloitte, Mr. Bagwell completed a one-year fellowship at the Financial Standards Accounting Board, where he conducted investor outreach and research on the new global accounting standards on revenue recognition. Mr. Bagwell graduated with high honors from Brigham Young University with a BS and MA in Accounting and earned his MBA from Chicago Booth as a Wallman Scholar.
