Lodwrick (Lod) Cook is Vice Chairman Emeritus of Winnick & Company and CEO of Cane River Development Company, a residential real estate developer in California. He is also Chairman of NeuroSigma, Inc., a neuromodulation medical device company. From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Cook was Co-Chairman of Global Crossing Ltd. Prior to that, he had a 39-year career at Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO), becoming President & CEO in 1985, Chairman & CEO in 1986 and in 1995, Chairman Emeritus. Mr. Cook is a Trustee of the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Founder of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles. He is Director of the LSU Alumni Association and Life Regent of Pepperdine University. Mr. Cook serves as National Director Emeritus of Junior Achievement and was inducted into the JA Business Hall of Fame in 2000. In 1994, Mr. Cook was invested with the insignia of Honorary Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE) for his contribution to Anglo-American relations. Mr. Cook received BS degrees in Mathematics and Petroleum Engineering from LSU and an MBA from SMU. He holds honorary degrees from LSU, Pepperdine University, California Lutheran University, California State University and St. Augustine’s College.
