Barry Swirsky has been General Counsel of Wind River Holdings since July 2001. He is in charge of the legal affairs of Wind River Holdings and its affiliates. In addition, Mr. Swirsky participates in the business activities of Wind River and affiliates, including risk management, tax planning, strategy, acquisitions and investment management. Prior to joining Wind River, from 1995-2001, Mr. Swirsky served as General Counsel to Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., a growing NASDAQ National Market company, where he was a senior executive responsible for all legal affairs of Nobel and its subsidiaries. For fourteen years prior to joining Nobel, Mr. Swirsky was engaged in private business law practice, primarily with major law firms in New York City and Philadelphia. At Dechert of Philadelphia (1984-1992), Mr. Swirsky handled complex acquisition and public and private financing transactions for major institutional and corporate clients. Mr. Swirsky received his B.A. degree magna cum laude from Brown University in 1978 and his J.D. degree cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1981.
