Bio

Max von Zuben joined Wicks in July 2004. As a Managing Partner, he is involved in all of the firm’s investment and management activities and serves on the boards of directors of all of our operating companies. Before joining Wicks, Max spent two years as an Associate at Dubilier & Company, a middle-market private equity firm based in New York, where he worked on all aspects of investment and portfolio company management. Prior to Dubilier, Max worked in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities (DLJ). At DLJ, he worked as a generalist, in the media group, and in real estate in New York and London. Max is an active member of the community and currently sits on the board of directors of Graham Windham, a nonprofit that has pioneered programs for New York City’s disadvantaged children, families, and communities since 1806. Max graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature and Language. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
