At Weave, Vishy sources and evaluates investment opportunities, while identifying innovative technologies that can be used to transform portfolio companies. Vishy gets excited by businesses that have 'data capital', or proprietary data flowing through their operations, because those are the businesses that can benefit most from Weave's approach. Vishy is an experienced venture capital investor, having led investments in high-tech startups at corporate and institutional venture capital teams. His investing experience has given him extensive knowledge of analytics, automation and fintech and enterprise software startups while also understanding what makes them successful in real use cases. Prior to Weave, Vishy served on investment teams at Citi Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and Longworth Venture Partners. He was also a seed-stage entrepreneur, having started Whalelogix, an angel-backed online retail personalization startup. Vishy received an M.Eng. in Computer Science and an S.B. in Cognitive Science from MIT, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the Wharton School.
