Bio

Before founding Washington Harbour, Mr. Faltas was Co-Founder, Managing Partner, and Head of Research at Nokota Management, a $2.7 billion hedge fund, from 2011-March 2019. He oversaw risk management and served on the Management Committee and the Investment Committee. Previously, he was a Senior Investment Analyst at Viking Global Investors, a $20 billion investment firm, from 2008 until 2011. He invested in equity and credit primarily covering technology, media, telecom, healthcare, and gaming/companies. Mr. Faltas worked at JPMorgan from 2000 through 2008, initially as Vice President in the Proprietary Positioning Business, focusing on distressed debt and special situations investments (2006-2008), Vice President in the Corporate Structuring and Solutions Group (2002-2006) and, and a M&A Analyst advising on telecom, media, and technology firms from 2000 to 2002. Mr. Faltas graduated with a B.S. in Commerce (Finance) from the University of Virginia. He serves on the Board of Advisors of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, the Advisory Board of Diameter Capital Partners, the Board of Directors of Groundswell, the Board of Directors of aXiomatic Gaming, and the Board of Directors of Reconext. He is also a member of the US Capital Chapter of YPO.
