Michael E. Martin is a Managing Director in the Financial Services group. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus in 2009, he was President of Brooklyn NY Holdings, a private investment company. Previously, Michael was a Vice Chairman and Managing Director of UBS Investment Bank where he also served as a member of the UBS Investment Bank Board and its Global Executive Committee. He has also held senior positions at Credit Suisse First Boston and practiced Corporate Law at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Michael was a Clerk for the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt, of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Michael is a Director of Edelman Financial Engines, Foundation Risk Partners, IntraFi Network, Kestra Financial, K2 Insurance Services, Mariner Finance, Petplan, and Solar Mosaic. He holds a BA in Economics from Claremont Men’s College and a JD from Columbia University School of Law.
