Bio

David is a Houston native with 20 years of corporate finance experience exclusively in the energy services and equipment sector. Before founding Voyager, he spent 12 years at Simmons & Company as one of the Managing Directors leading its ES&E investment banking practice. At Simmons and prior firms, David has worked on more than 100 M&A, IPO, and public and private capital raise transactions valued at more than $10 billion. While David has advised on large public company and private equity transactions, much of his career has focused on advising middle market entrepreneurs and their management teams on critical business decisions. Passion for working alongside the entrepreneurial community drove his decision to start Voyager in early 2020. David received an MBA from The University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business and a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University. David and his wife Nia have three kids – Walker, Gracie and Annie. He stays active in his free time playing golf, enjoying the outdoors with family, and cooking.
