Christian Sowul joined Vista Equity Partners in 2001. Mr. Sowul sits on the Vista Flagship Funds’ Investment Committee and leads transaction teams in all sectors. He currently sits on the boards of 7Park Data, Applause, Solera, Stats Perform, Vertafore and Xactly. Mr Sowul currently works with the firm’s investment in Power Factors. He was actively involved in Vista’s investments in Advicent, Applied Systems, BigMachines, Brainware, MRI Software, Omnitracs, SER, SirsiDynix, Sovos Compliance and Zywave. Prior to joining Vista, Mr. Sowul worked in the High Technology group at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he advised clients in a variety of verticals including software, internet and media, direct broadcast satellite, IT services and telecom equipment, among others. These projects included buy-side and sell-side transactions, public market financings and other strategic advisory initiatives. Mr. Sowul also worked at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, where he focused on high technology mergers and acquisitions and investment banking, and at Generation Partners, a venture capital firm focused on technology investments.
