Mr. Barbosa joined Vision Brazil Investments in 2007, became the company’s General Counsel in 2010 and is now involved in the Special Credit Situations strategies. Prior to joining Vision, Mr. Barbosa’s professional activities included a 6-year tenure at the Brazilian law firm Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão Advogados, where he focused on Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Law, Contracts and foreign investment in Brazil. Mr. Barbosa is a member of the São Paulo Branch of the Brazilian Bar Association, a member of one of ANBIMA’s (the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association) committees for local investment funds and a member of LACCA – Latin American Corporate Counsel Association. Leonardo Barbosa holds a Law Degree (JD) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a Masters Degree (LL.M.) in Corporate Law from Insper São Paulo.
