Dr. Junior co-founded Vision Brazil Investments with Fabio Greco in 2006. Prior to Vision, Dr. Junior was a co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Capitania Asset & Risk Management. Prior to co-founding Capitania, he was Managing Director, Head Trader, and Treasurer for Bank of America in Brazil. Dr. Junior was previously Head of Brazilian FX and Derivatives Market Making and Head of Brazilian Fixed Income at JP Morgan in Brazil, and before that he spent 4 years at JP Morgan in New York. Before moving to Wall Street, Dr. Junior was a Consultant in mathematical modeling and numerical algorithms for Thinking Machines Corporation, and for several large US oil and gas companies. He currently holds seats on the Board of Directors of several companies. Dr. Junior holds a PhD in Engineering and Applied Mathematics from MIT and an MSc and BSc from PUC Rio de Janeiro.
