USA educated, holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in Finance. Founder and Managing Partner of a private equity investment company in Dubai with assets under management in excess of $70 million. Over 20 years of private equity, management consulting and financial accounting experience in New York and the Middle East. Over 7 years of banking and financial accounting experience in New York with the Chase Manhattan Bank and the Union Bank of Switzerland. Joined Booz Allen & Hamilton Middle East practice in 1999. Worked on projects in industries such as telecoms, healthcare, and consumer retail. In 2003, moved to the Private Equity department of MAF Trust to manage the private equity portfolio (size $150m) where he led and/or managed a portfolio of 12 companies and served on the Boards of several companies.
