Eivind is Partner at Viking Venture. His wide-ranging industry background enables him to think both strategically and operationally. He has lived and worked in the US. Eivind has a strong entrepreneurial mindset and prior to joining Viking, was an instrumental part of the success of Nacre AS, a former Viking Venture portfolio company. As CEO of Nacre, he led them from being a Norwegian start-up to global market leader in communication and hearing protection headsets for defense, security and industrial markets. Nacre was sold for 125 mUSD to Honeywell in 2007 – the exit was named Nordic Venture Exit of the Year 2007 by Nordic Unquote Private Equity Awards. Eivind has a MSc in Electronics Engineering from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He has additional education from the Norwegian Business School (BI), MBA-level management training and venture capital education.
