Bio

Ken is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Vestar with responsibilities including Investor Relations. He is also a member of Vestar Resources. Ken joined the firm in 2006 following 25 years in the Media industry with particular focus on operations, acquisitions and finance. His previous positions included serving as Executive Vice President and CFO of Pyramid Communications, a Vestar portfolio company. He subsequently served as a senior executive with several large media companies including AMFM, Inc., as CEO and President, and Clear Channel Radio Group, as President and Chief Operating Officer. Ken has worked with several Vestar portfolio companies over the years, including serving as a Board Chairman of MCG Capital Corporation and as Co-Chairman of the Board of Border Media. He currently serves on the boards of Roland Foods and HealthGrades. Ken holds an AB in Economics from Brown University. He is a Trustee Emeritus of Brown University. Originally from Garden City, New York, Ken is married with four children and lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
