Diya is a Managing Director on the Consumer team at Vestar. Previously she spent ~10 years in M&A at Jarden Corporation, a publicly-traded Fortune 500 consumer products company with a highly acquisitive nature, during which time she was involved in the completion of approximately 30 transactions across the global consumer sector. Immediately prior to joining Vestar, she served as SVP, Business Development & Strategy at High Ridge Brands, an independent branded personal care company with presence in hair, skin and oral care categories. She began her career in investment banking, focusing on the consumer & retail sectors, at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Banc of America Securities. Diya holds a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
