Bio

David is the Chief Investment Officer of Vesper Company. Previously, he was Head of Corporate Development for Kobalt Music Group, where he oversaw the strategy and business operations teams. Prior to Kobalt, David was a Managing Director in the Private Capital Group of MSD Partners, L.P. from 2000 to 2018, during which time he was actively involved in numerous investments for MSD, including business build-ups, growth investments, and structured investments. While at MSD, David worked with Shamit on several of MSD's investments in Vesper Company's target verticals: OneWest Bank, Kobalt Music, Transaction Network Services, Owl Rock (now Blue Owl), WCG Clinical, and Ultimate Fighting Championship. David has extensive experience in technology, media & entertainment, financial services, and business services. Prior to MSD, David was an attorney in the Restructuring and Finance group at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen and Katz. David is a graduate of Stanford University and New York University School of Law.
