Bio

Mr. French has responsibility for day-to-day oversight and supervision of Versa's portfolio operating companies including the content, quality and implementation of business, management and financial planning processes, and the execution of restructuring and value creation initiatives. He is a member of the firm's Investment, Portfolio and Management Committees, and is currently a Director of Versa's portfolio companies Allen-Vanguard, Avenue Stores, Bell + Howell, Black Angus Steakhouses, BridgeStreet Worldwide, Civitas Media, Hatteras Yachts and Polartec. A former U.S. Naval Officer, Mr. French received his B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Dubuque and his M.S.B.A. from the University of Denver, and he is a Certified Public Accountant. He has been a member of Versa and its predecessors since 1994.
