Reed joined Verdane’s team in Oslo in August 2019 with previous experience in private equity and growth equity in New York City. He focuses primarily on investments in the Energy- and Resource-Efficiency space. Immediately prior to joining Verdane, Reed was a growth equity investor with Activant Capital, focusing on technology companies digitalizing legacy industries such as logistics, manufacturing, agriculture, and construction. Prior to that, he worked as a private equity investment analyst with Goldman Sachs, gaining experience across a range of sectors, geographies, and growth cycle stages. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs full-time, he held two full-time internship positions with the company in private equity and investment management. Reed earned his Bachelor in Neuroscience from Harvard University.
