Piotr started his professional career in 1993, when he joined KPMG in Warsaw. He gained five years of corporate finance and M&A experience in a series of roles as the Polish market went through a rapid transformation in the 90-ties. Piotr’s private equity experience starts in 1998, when he joined Riverside Europe Partners LLC, (a US based private equity fund management group), and established their Warsaw office. He was involved in all aspects of private equity activity for the firm, including deal origination, transaction management and negotiations. Piotr has led six completed buy-out investments in Poland, as well as participated as a team member in several other acquisitions made by Riverside in other European countries. As a member of the Investment Committee in three Riverside funds, he actively participated in investment decisions relating to a broad range of companies from Riverside’s portfolio. He was a member of the Supervisory Board of publicly listed companies from the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In 2007 Piotr joined SGAM as a partner and member of the Eastern Europe Investment Committee leading transactions in Poland and the region. After SGAM’s transformation into Amundi, Piotr, together with Bill and Jacek spun out Eastern European investment activity into V4C. As one of the three founding partners, Piotr is a member of the V4C investment committee, responsible for investment and divestment decisions as well as portfolio supervision.
