Bio

Tom joined Valor in 2022 as Principal on the Investor Relations Team. Prior to joining Valor, Tom was Managing Director and Co-Head of Business Development for High Net Worth Individual Portfolios at Monroe Capital, a Chicago-based Private Credit Firm. His responsibilities included building and maintaining client relationships in the intermediary and advisor-sold space, leading key account relationships for the Eastern United States, and co-managing the High Net Worth Individual Portfolios dedicated team. Prior to Monroe, Tom worked at Evanston Capital Management where he served as Senior Vice President Head of Intermediary Business Development and held similar roles at Fox River Partners and Stairway Partners. He began his investment career at Putnam Investments where he held multiple roles in the business development vertical. Tom is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago and serves on the boards of Metrosquash and The Brinson Foundation. Tom earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and has a B.A. in History from Hobart College.
