As Principal with Valesco, Addison Kim’s current responsibilities are portfolio performance, transaction management as well as analyst & associate staffing. In addition, he assists in new investment origination and business development, and serves as Board member for multiple portfolio companies. Addison brings prior experience from his roles in both private equity and automotive commercial credit. This variety of experience across industries brings a unique perspective to the team and value to our partners. Addison’s insight from this experience has contributed to his ability to analyze new opportunities and manage our portfolio companies effectively. Outside of his day job, Addison loves to spend his time with his wife, Ari and dog, Yukon. As a Dallas native, on the weekends you can find him with his family cruising a local running trail or searching the DFW metroplex for the next best spot to eat. Addison has an MBA from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas with two Bachelors of Science in Finance and Global Business.
