Mike Dierks is a Partner at Valeas, where he serves as a non-voting member of the Firm’s Investment Committee and is responsible for the Firm’s finance, legal, technology, and compliance functions. Prior to Valeas, he founded Lobos Valley Advisors, a consulting firm for private equity firms, venture capital firms, and their portfolio companies. Through Lobos Valley Advisors, Mike worked on special projects for Golden Gate Capital that realized several hundred million dollars of incremental cash generation. Previously, Mike was COO and CFO at Crossbow Technology, where he restructured the company’s wireless business and international operations. He was also a Director at Intel Capital, where he was a corporate strategic investor in early-stage technology companies. Mike started his career as an attorney and earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.S.E. from Duke University.
