Morgan leads all investment and operational activities at Union Park Capital, which he founded in 2012. Prior to founding Union Park, he spent 15 years at Battery Ventures where he was a senior General Partner, an owner, and a member of the firm’s four-member Executive Committee. At Battery, he created and led the Industrial Technology buyout practice which has delivered market-leading returns. Over the past sixteen years, he has worked with exceptional CEOs to create a handful of highly-profitable Industrial Technology companies built out of 50+ separate acquisitions. Morgan had one of the top track records at Battery, and brings that knowledge and experience to his work at Union Park. Morgan is currently the Chairman of the Board at each of Union Park's portfolio companies, and is also a board member of Nova Metrix, the worldwide leader in Geotechnical Instrumentation, and Nova Instruments, a market leader in non-destructive Test. Prior to Battery, Morgan was a Captain in the US Air Force. Morgan earned a BS in Engineering Science from Harvard, where he attended on an Air Force ROTC scholarship, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford, attending on a National Science Foundation fellowship.
