Dan Galpern joined TZP Group in July 2008. Dan began his career in 1996 as a Mergers and Acquisitions Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. In 2000, he joined TD Capital Communications Partners as an Associate and was promoted to Vice President in 2002. At TD Capital, Dan originated, executed and monitored private equity investments in the media, communications and business services industries. In 2003, he joined as Executive Vice President and then became COO of CurtCo Media Labs, LLC, a media-focused private equity fund and holding company for the Robb Report Family of Publications, which under Dan’s leadership grew from four publishing brands to an international integrated media platform with fifteen media brands. Dan currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Snap Fitness, Inc., Lift Brands, Inc., Assos of Switzerland SA, Hylan Datacom, LLC, Christy Sports, LLC, and SA Company, LLC. Dan received his B.S. in Political Science from Washington University in 1993 and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1996. He is a director and treasurer of Children’s Rights, Inc. and Chairman Emeritus of the Gotham Chapter of the YPO.
