Between 1999 and 2005, Stefan Hamm founded and ran IVP Management GmbH, where he was responsible for the areas of restructuring and interim management for ailing small to medium-sized businesses. After the merger of IVP with Fairwest AG, Stefan Hamm was a Partner and Director of the merged company, Concentro AG. At Concentro he was responsible for corporate finance and management and acquisitions. Prior to this, Dr Hamm was with Roland Berger and Partners for seven years in various capacities, ultimately as Associate Partner in Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, where together with their South American partner he established the Mercosul Organisation. During his time with Roland Berger he oversaw numerous turnaround and corporate finance projects in the machine and plant construction, automobile, entertainment electronics and pharmaceuticals sectors. Dr Hamm has also worked for Ernst and Young in Washington DC as a consultant on flotation issues and procurement of venture capital for US technological companies. Stefan studied business administration at the University of Saarbrücken and the London Business School, and is a graduate of the University of Innsbruck.
