Bio

Derek Wang joined CITIC Capital in 2007 and is now a Senior Managing Director of CITIC Capital Partners responsible for investment activities of China private equity. Prior to joining CITIC Capital, he was an investment banker in Piper Jaffray Shanghai office. Previously, he work​ed in the Corporate Advisory division of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Wang obtained his Master of Business in Banking & Finance from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Finance from the Central University ​of Finance and Economics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst. ​​​​
