Partner
and access,
Andrew has over fifteen years experience advising, investing in and operating Canadian small businesses. Andrew’s diverse set of experiences and people-first approach allow him to uniquely partner with business owners and management teams across day-to-day operational matters through execution of longer-term strategic initiatives. Prior to joining TrussPoint, Andrew served as Chief Financial Officer for a leading North American industrial manufacturing and field service provider. During his tenure, he was an integral part of the leadership team that carefully crafted succession plans for previous family ownership and positioned the company for growth. Andrew was accountable for and led teams across Finance, HR, IT, Real Estate, Legal and M&A before successfully guiding the company through its sale process to new investment partners. Prior to operating, Andrew was Vice President at Ironbridge Equity Partners, a lower mid-market private equity firm, where he sourced, assessed, executed and actively supported direct investments in family-owned, traditional industry Canadian businesses. He started his career working in investment banking and advisory services at EY. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. He has served on the boards of several private equity-backed companies. Outside of the office, Andrew and his wife can be found chasing their toddler around the city or spending time at the family cottage.
